Dara Podcast

These are the designs I made for a podcast project. I created the podcast logo, Instagram posts, iTunes and Spotify covers, YouTube thumbnails and channel art. I mostly utilized a duotone color scheme throughout the project. I adhered to a somewhat retro skeumorphic aesthetic for this project: with artwork for audio and video formats of the podcast utilizing their real-life counterpart's design. For the audio version of the podcast I used tape cassette imagery to convey the idea that it's a sonic experience. And for the YouTube thumbnails, I relied on the VHS cassette look to showcase the visual medium of the podcast. I also created the short intro video and opening sequence, again inspired by real-life imagery. In this case, it was the graffiti of the podcast logo on various streets and walls to convey the idea of a podcast in an international setting about people from all walks of life.
